Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Policy

ISTA Oil & Gas Development Engineering Company (IODEC) is engaged in the design and engineering, procurement, manufacturing, fabrication, installation, and execution of projects in the power, oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical industries. Its activities cover electrical heat tracing systems, industrial electrical heaters, cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring, manufacturing of zinc sacrificial anodes for marine applications, electrical and instrumentation systems, industrial insulation, mechanical static and rotating equipment, and other related fields.

By employing qualified and experienced personnel and utilizing up-to-date technical knowledge, IODEC is committed to establishing, maintaining, and continually improving its Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.

In compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and other requirements, the company adopts the following principles:

  • Enhancing customer satisfaction by identifying, understanding, and fulfilling their current and future needs and expectations;
  • Executing projects and manufacturing products in compliance with technical requirements, recognized standards, contractual specifications, and accepted commitments;
  • Continually improving the quality of products, services, and projects and preventing nonconformities throughout all stages of design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, fabrication, and execution;
  • Developing the knowledge, skills, and professional capabilities of employees as the organization''s principal assets and promoting a culture of participation and teamwork;
  • Expanding the company''s share of national and regional markets through a thorough understanding of market requirements, enhanced competitiveness, and effective participation in tenders and projects;
  • Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes through a process-based approach, management of risks and opportunities, and continual improvement of management systems;
  • Developing and localizing technical knowledge, manufacturing technologies, and project execution methods through research, development, innovation, and the effective use of organizational experience;
  • Providing safe and healthy working conditions, identifying and controlling hazards, and endeavoring to prevent work-related incidents, injuries, and ill health;
  • Protecting the environment, preventing pollution, using resources efficiently, and reducing adverse environmental impacts arising from the company''s activities, products, and services;
  • Implementing and complying with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements at the head office, manufacturing facility, workshops, and all company project sites;
  • Encouraging employee consultation and participation and enhancing their awareness of their responsibilities and contribution toward achieving the company''s quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental objectives.

Together with all IODEC employees, I fully support the principles of this policy and remain committed to establishing, maintaining, and continually improving the company''s Integrated Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 29001:2020, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015, as well as the requirements of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries (HSE-MS).

Top management shall ensure that this policy is communicated, understood, and implemented at all levels of the organization, that the necessary resources are made available, and that the policy is periodically reviewed. The principle of "continual improvement" shall be pursued across all company activities, processes, products, and services.
